NCRS Regional Top Flight award in 2010. One of the most documented, award winning Pace Cars. Details: Indy Pace Car edition. L-48 with automatic. One of only 6,502 produced, one for every Chevrolet dealer in the USA at that time. Truly one of the best un-restored completely matching numbers examples in existence, with the awards to back it up. This car has 48 original documented miles and is the only 1978 Corvette Pace Car to win the coveted Bloomington Triple Crown, which consists of the Bloomington Gold award, Bloomington Bench Mark award and the Bloomington Survivor award which it completed in 2009. In May of 2010 this Pace Car also received an NCRS Regional Top Flight award. The car is completely documented with pictures of when it was found with just 13 miles, and pictures throughout the cleaning up process and showing process. It retains its original Window Sticker along with all other original dealer information and paperwork, and the two original cancelled checks that were used to purchased the car new. It still has the original Pace Car decals in the boxes that go with the car, along with original display and promotional items, original cardboard floor mats, starting instructions and so much more.
